The Cuyahoga County Farm Bureau is pleased to provide funding for an agriculture-related activity (a visit to a farm, a farm visit to your school, or an ag-related classroom /school project) during the school year. Funds are limited to $6 per student with a maximum of $400 per school, per school year.
In past years, we have had requests for classroom visits to Stearns Homestead, a historic farm in Parma, a multi-class bus trip to Lake Farmpark in Kirtland, for purchase of an incubator for a school science lab, for the Growing Carrots in Ohio program offered by Ohio Farm Bureau and for purchase of the Food, Land and People project book.
Funds are available to teachers or schools in Cuyahoga County only and until funds are exhausted. All requests will be verified. Agriculture Activity – Request for Funding form is attached.
