For Immediate Release
April 10, 2014
COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) – Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) members are now eligible to get a $500 General Motors discount on the purchase or lease of a new GM car or truck, and for the first time this discount can be used with one other GM offer.
Also new is that Farm Bureau members are eligible for this special discount only 30 days after becoming a member – a reduction from the previous 60-day eligibility requirement.
The improved “Bonus Cash” program demonstrates Ohio Farm Bureau’s commitment to help members save money and provide quality benefits, said Ohio Farm Bureau President Steve Hirsch.
“Ohio Farm Bureau members are accustomed to having exclusive access to superior, high-quality brands, programs and products,” Hirsch said. “GM’s generous offer to Farm Bureau members means our members can experience more savings than ever before. This is just one more example of why it pays to be a member of Farm Bureau.”
The new Bonus Cash offer can be used in conjunction with all other offers available to eligible Farm Bureau members such as Owner Loyalty (discounted employee, dealership employee and supplier pricing is excluded). The offer can be used on the purchase or lease of all 2013, 2014 and 2015 Chevrolet, Buick and GMC models without exclusions in states that participate in the GM program.
To take advantage of the GM program discounts, Ohio Farm Bureau members should log on to fbverify.com/gm where eligibility will be confirmed once members enter their membership number and zip code. A certificate will be made available online that must be printed and taken to a dealership. There is no limit to the number of certificates that a member may print or use. Certificates expire after 60 days.
The GM member discount adds to a dynamic list of Ohio Farm Bureau benefits, including discounts and services from partners such as vehicle, farm, home insurance and more from Nationwide Insurance. General Motors is the official vehicle sponsor of the American Farm Bureau Federation.
Ohio Farm Bureau is the state’s largest and most inclusive farm and food organization. Its mission is to forge a partnership between farmers and consumers.
