In collaboration with our partners, Washington Soil and Water Conservation District will be hosting a farm safety day. This event will enable youth and adults alike to become educated on the importance of agricultural safety. Topics of interest include: Mock Rescue, Chemical Safety, Road Safety, OUPS, Scene Safety, Animal Safety, 911 Calls, and Barnyard Baby Safety.
Audience – Farm and agriculture workers; kids; emergency personnel
Hours – 6 total teaching hours
Date – Saturday, July 26, 2014, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Format – Hands on; classroom; rotations
Cost – No charge; lunch will be provided
