During the 2014 Crawford County Fair, Farm Bureau expanded its presence in the Family Fun and Education Center, also known as the Whetstone Building. With the help of our fair ambassadors, we were able to share a positive message about modern agriculture with fairgoers of all ages. Careful planning helped present a cohesive environment that attracted guests into the building and encouraged them to stay. Interactive activities, iPad learning stations and Buckeye Bessie, a life-size model milk cow, gave guests a hands-on way to learn about where their food comes from. New features such as booths highlighting county FFA Chapters and a landscaped picnic area also captured attention and started conversations.
We would like to thank our partners and volunteers who helped make this outreach possible.
