Agricultural Fertilizer Applicator Certification Program Training

Ohio has a new law that requires most farmers to become certified fertilizer applicators.  Ohio Farm Bureau worked to make this new law effective and manageable.

Now, Ohio State University Extension and Ohio Department of Agriculture are beginning the certification process; below is more information on the requirements and the initial training sessions to be held soon in northwest Ohio.

Farm Bureau members are encouraged to register and attend one of these early sessions.  With the public eye focused on agriculture, the farm community needs to demonstrate its willingness to be part of the water quality solution.  Let’s fill all these seats at these first three meetings and make a strong public statement!
