Elections for the Cuyahoga County Board were held at the annual dinner meeting Sept. 23, 2014.
Thomas Kaskey of Olmsted Falls, Tom Washtock of Berea, Jeremy Peth of Strongsville, Ashley Rassi of Brooklyn Heights and Gerald Wilson of Cleveland were elected to serve a three-year term.
The county Farm Bureau Board of Trustees is the only legally constituted body that represents the entire county membership. Their responsibilites include approving and controlling all programs that go on in the name of the Farm Bureau, keeping in mind the principle vision –“Forging a partnership between farmers and consumers that meetsconsumer needs and ensures agricultural prosperity in a global marketplace”.
Along with program direction to carry out policy adopted by the members at the annual meeting, their responsibilities include fiscal accountability, strengthening membership, and alertness to problems and member concerns.
