Farm Bureau Fest: A Member Benefit Expo and Personal Development Opportunity
- Jan. 24 | Register by Jan 21
- 8:30 am to 1 p.m.
- Tri Rivers Career Center, Marion
- Cost: Free
Join Farm Bureau for a morning of development, networking, farm to table cooking demonstrations, fun and more. Bring the whole family and find out what your membership is really worth. Bring a non member and receive a special gift.
The day will feature three personal development opportunities. A Nationwide Insurance Land as Your Legacy seminar provides specialists to work one-on-one as you consider generational transition planning for your farming operation. The second opportunity will be four safety training sessions. Attend at least two of the four sessions to receive your Workers’ Compensation Group Rating certification requirement for the year. The third development opportunity will be a series of cooking workshops, including healthy cooking on a budget and farm to table expos by premier area chefs.
When not in training, visit our partners – such as Case IH, Grainger, Nationwide Agribusiness, GM, Sherwin Williams and more – and learn about the savings opportunities your membership affords you and your family. County Farm Bureau activities will be on display too, highlighting the great work each does and illustrating how your membership helps build a better community. Have a question about water quality, CAUV, oil and gas leasing, the Farm Bill or other policy issues? Ohio Farm Bureau specialists will speak with you directly about issues that matter to your community. There will be supervised children’s activities, featuring ag activities and a live animal presentation from the Columbus Zoo. So bring the whole family and attend the development sessions while your kids have fun learning about animals, food and farming. A soup and salad lunch will also be served.
Registration is required for all attendees.
