Showing of Farmland on January 18

Huron County Farm Bureau and the Western Reserve FFA are pleased to announce a community viewing of the documentary, Farmland.  This free event, sponsored by Farm Credit Mid-America, will take place on January 18, 2015 at 3:00 pm in the Western Reserve Elementary cafeteria.

Farmland allows viewers a first-hand glimpse into the lives of young farmers and ranchers.  It showcases “their high-risk/high-reward jobs and passion for a way of life that has been passed down from generation to generation, yet continues to evolve” according to the films website.  Refreshments that highlight local agricultural products will be available, free of charge, for all in attendance.  There will also be a ‘kid’s corner’ and high school students prepared to entertain children not interested in viewing the movie.  We look forward to promoting the agricultural industry with members of our local communities throughout Huron, Lorain, and Erie Counties.  Mark your calendars for January 18, 2015 and bring the whole family!
