The Morrow County Farm Bureau, in partnership with local farmers, will celebrate Ag Week with its annual Farmers Share Breakfast. The breakfast will be held Saturday, March 21 from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Cardington-Lincoln High School, 349 Chesterville Avenue, Cardington. The cost of the meal is just $1, which includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, orange juice, milk, and coffee. Canned goods can be donated for local food pantries in lieu of money.
“Farmers and ranchers remain committed to producing safe, healthy food for consumers, and we share with consumers many of the same concerns about putting nutritious meals on the table on a tight budget,” says Andrea Bayles, Morrow County Farm Bureau Communications Team Leader. “By inviting consumers to our Farmers Share Breakfast, we hope to connect with them and provide a better understanding of the origins of the food on their plates.”
