Local Issue Discussion set For March 24

You are cordially invited to attend the Crawford County Farm Bureau policy development meeting Tuesday, March 24. We will meet in the Lowere Level Conference Room of County Courthouse, 112 E. Mansfield St, Bucyrus. A light breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m.

Policy development is one of the most important activities that the Crawford County Farm Bureau conducts each year. We take suggestions for policy from our members, our board of trustees, and from community leaders. Our policy development committee then takes the suggestions and proposes policy resolutions to the membership at our annual meeting. Our policies are a reflection of the issues that are important to Farm Bureau members. Throughout the program year, our “action projects” will be based on these policies. County Farm Bureau policy also helps to determine Ohio and American Farm Bureau policy.

This is a process that truly represents democracy in action.Your input is vital to the success of this program. We would like for you to offer one or two issues that you feel that Farm Bureau should work on this year. You may suggest ideas that you have thought of through your work or from personal experiences. Please write down your ideas and be prepared to share them with the group. Please call our office (800-327-6055) to RSVP by Monday March 23.

Thank you for your time. We hope to see you March 24!
