Learn about soil health, seasonal high tunnels, drip irrigation and resources available for urban farmers at a workshop scheduled on Saturday, April 18, 2015 starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Cleveland Thurgood Marshall Recreation Center, 8611 Hough Avenue, Cleveland.
Experts will talk on soil health, good agriculture practices and provide tips on how to promote your farm and farm product using social media at the recreation center and then attendees will take a short walk (or drive) to a high tunnel nearby to learn about high tunnels, micro-irrigation and soil amendments.
