Ohio Farm Bureau’s AgriPOWER Institute Recruiting for Class VII

Each year, the Ohio Farm Bureau AgriPOWER Institute helps 20 individuals develop the skills necessary to become effective leaders and advocates for agriculture by learning from experts in these fields. Designed specifically for farmers and agribusiness professionals, the yearlong program focuses on public policy issues confronting agriculture and the food industry.

The program consists of seven multi-day institutes (17 total days) covering public policy matters facing local communities, the state of Ohio, the nation and the world. Additionally, specific sessions help class members develop important skills necessary to become an effective leader and advocate. One session will be held in Washington, D.C. to help class members gain a valuable understanding of national and global issues, and another session will be held in another state to give participants a greater perspective of U.S. agriculture.

Attached is the promotional brochure with the detailed information. The application is also attached and can also be found on ofbf.org under the AgriPOWER section.

Applications are due by April 17. Please submit applications to [email protected]

Thank you for your continued support of the AgriPOWER program. I am really looking forward to meeting the next great leaders in Ohio agriculture.
