5.  Hamilton County Community Fair Rodeo:  Rolling Stone Rodeo Company (Strickers Grove, Ross Ohio)  Saturday July 18, 7:00 PM

.  Bulls Broncos and Barrels Rodeo sponsored by Hamilton County Farm Bureau.  (I went last year, 1,000 spectators there and we had a blast!) 6.  Ohio Horseman’s Council Weekend Camping Youth Program: Horses Provided!

This weekend camping trip is organized by Ohio Horseman’s Council to promote the Ohio Horseman’s Council Youth Program.  This overnight horse camp is for participants between the ages of 8 to 17, campers may ride camp horses (at no additional cost) or can bring their own horse.  Cost is $65.00 per youth for the weekend and first priority given to OHC members. An OHC youth membership is only $20.00! (application attached)

Registration extended to July 25th! 

1. There are multiple equine trail head park campsites located very close to Camp Mohaven where the related adults can camp, ride, be available and have fun while the young people are doing the same at Camp – FMI: call Jackie Romaker 419-575-3623 

2. Camp Mohaven is owned and operated by the Ohio Conference of Seventh Day Adventist.  Just like Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and the Wounded Warrior Program, Camp Mohaven is graciously allowing Ohio Horseman’s Council use of the equine facility and horses to provide this program for our youth members.  This is strictly an equine youth program and there are no religious orientation activities planned for the OHC Youth Program weekend.

7.  Bridle Trail Fund: Love what you see at the Miami Whitewater Forest horse trails and can’t wait to donate to the Miami Whitewater Forest Bridle Trail Fund?  The Great Parks Foundation website has been updated and it is very easy to donate.   Select “Contribute”.  Contribute will take you to second window.  The top of the second window is “Make a Contribution”. Under  “Make a Contribution” is says “Select Fund and Amount”. The “Miami Whitewater Forest Bridle Trail Fund” is fourth down from the top.Miami Whitewater Forest Bridle Trail Fund
