UAS Flight Demos and Application Review

PROGRAM This half day event will provide an orientation to three professional Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) aircraft types and their potential applications in areas including precision agriculture, mapping, infrastructure inspection and first responders missions. During the first hour, participants will receive an overview of the UAS types to be flown and will complete a safety briefing prior to transitioning to the flight area. Over the next three hours, the Altavian Nova Block III, Sentera Vireo, and Lockheed-Martin Indago will be demonstrated with an emphasis given to exploring the capabilities, differences, and benefits of each system. Participants will not directly control the aircraft but will have an opportunity to observe their operation and engage with the available subject-matter experts and flight crew. *All flights are contingent on weather and the flight crew’s discretion related to the safety of operations.
