Growing Our Generation: Agriculture enthusiast, agvocate, new mom

Hello friends! My name is Taysha Reitzel and I live up in the northwest corner of the state in Williams County on a farm with my husband Joseph and our new little baby boy Wyatt. I was lucky to be raised in the agriculture industry as my dad is a farmer and I was involved in all aspects of the farm growing up. My dad was blessed with three daughters and he treated us just like his “boys.” We did everything from field work to running combine. We also dabbled in the livestock industry with showing animals through the county fair and FFA.

I joined Farm Bureau about five years ago and currently sit on the county board as well as help lead our four county Young Ag Professionals group. I joined Farm Bureau as a way to get more involved on a local level with other producers as well as a way to share my voice about the industry to our officials at the state and national level.

My passion for agriculture runs deep and in 2011 I started a blog to share my passion and advocate this industry that I love. It is an amazing platform to be able to share my story and connect people to agriculture.
