COLUMBUS, Ohio (OFBF) — Paul Davidson of Newark will continue as a trustee of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) after delegates re-elected him during the organization’s 97th annual meeting. As a trustee, he will help provide governance to the state’s largest and most inclusive agricultural organization. He represents the interests of Farm Bureau members in Coshocton, Holmes, Knox and Licking counties.
Davidson is a 43-year member of the Licking County Farm Bureau and served as its president. He joined the OFBF board in May 2011.
An Ohio State University graduate with a degree in agricultural economics and rural sociology, Davidson produces hay and is a project manager for a local excavating company. He is on the board of directors of the Buckeye Valley Building Industries Association, a 4-H adviser and member of FFA Alumni. He formerly served on the 17th district Natural Resource Assistance Council of the Clean Ohio Fund. He also is active with several antique tractor clubs.
During OFBF’s annual meeting Dec. 2-4, Farm Bureau delegates established policy on a variety of agricultural, environmental, economic and social issues. The organization’s mission is to forge a partnership between farmers and consumers.
