Agvocate and aspiring farmer

Hello! My name is Victoria Shaw and I am from Medina County; more specifically, a small family farm in Litchfield.  My family raises market hogs and beef steers and grows corn, soybeans and wheat across three counties.

Since joining the Ohio Farm Bureau three years ago, I have been engaged in Young Ag Professionals’ opportunities.  Last year, I had the honor of attending the National Discussion Meet competition in San Diego, Calif. after winning first place at the state level Discussion Meet.  At nationals, I was fortunate enough to advance to the Sweet 16 round, proudly representing Ohio.

Right now, I do not have my own farm. But I want one and I hope to one day obtain a successful career in agriculture. I am working to be a part of the next generation of farming.
