Ohio’s Young Farmers and Ranchers Representatives

Get ready, Ohio! Tractor season is just a few weeks away. If you are anything like us, you are itching for spring to get here! On our farm we are well into the planning stage of what gets planted where, so once the ground warms up, we’ll be jumping in the tractors to start planting.

We are Latham and Katie Farley from Englewood, Ohio, and we live on Katie’s third generation family grain farm where we work with her dad and uncle to grow corn, soybeans and wheat. We have two beautiful daughters, Cora and Kenzie, and also both work off the farm. Latham works for the USDA Farm Service Agency in Sidney, Ohio, and Katie owns her own graphic design and photography business.

We are past members of the Ohio Farm Bureau Young Agricultural Professionals State Committee and served as chairs. A year ago we were appointed to the American Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee and represent Ohio, West Virginia and Mississippi on a national level. Being involved in Farm Bureau at a local, state and national level has really opened our eyes to how policy works and made us better advocates for agriculture.
