Growing our Generation: Friends through Farm Bureau

If you feel like you already know me, it’s probably because I’ve been around Farm Bureau since I was about eight years old and, now, 20 years later, I’ve managed to make a few friends along the way.

I’m Kayla Weaver and I’m sharing my thoughts with you from Upper Sandusky, where I own and operate Crossroads Crop Insurance Agency and work with Payne & Brown Insurance as an independent agent to write property and casualty insurance; and that’s just my day job.

I’m also a freelance writer for a few agriculture publications including Ohio Soybean News and Ohio’s Country Journal – if you pick up either on occasion, you’ve probably read something I’ve wrote!

Read more from Weaver in her blogs The Never-ending Story of Agriculture and If not us, who? which are part of her turn as editor of the Growing Our Generation eletter.  Browse the archive of past issues.

SUBSCRIBE to receive the biweekly eletter with a different featured editor to meet each issue.

This e-newsletter is brought to you by Ohio Farm Bureau’s Young Ag Professionals. Learn more about Farm Bureau membership, including a new discounted category for those 18-24 years old.
