Sunday Sept. 18, Clark County Farm Bureau held a celebration at the Heritage Center in Springfield to celebrate its 100th anniversary. Members who attended were able to enjoy a nice display of Farm Bureau over the years. The display included pictures of advocacy efforts over the past century, Farm Bureau at the county fair, history of the Clark County Farm Bureau Farm Bureau Co-op, and showcased many more member services and activities. Members also had the opportunity to share memories of their involvement with Clark County Farm Bureau throughout the years.
Sen. Bob Hackett attended the event and presented a proclamation on behalf of the members of the Senate of the 131st General Assembly of Ohio, honoring Clark County Farm Bureau on its 100th Anniversary. Ohio Farm Bureau State Trustee Bill Waddle presented an award to Vice President Bob Suver on behalf of Ohio Farm Bureau.
This display will be at the Heritage Center, 117 S. Fountain Ave. in Springfield, through November and members are encouraged to stop by and check it out. The Heritage Center is open Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is closed on Sunday.
