A great training session for Belmont, Guernsey, Monroe, Noble and Washington counties was held Tuesday, Oct. 11 at Mid East Career Center. The training was conducted by Betsy Anderson, organization director, with a focus on leadership roles and responsibilities. Thoughts were shared on how to make the county programs successful and several ideas for Core Funding activities were discussed.
County Farm Bureaus can apply for core funding from Ohio Farm Bureau for programming related to building or increasing member strength, member engagement or member advocacy:
Member Strength: The aspect of maintaining and growing the organization through membership, investments, and other financial means.
Member Engagement: The aspect of encouraging members to become more actively involved in the programs and other activities of Farm Bureau.
Member Advocacy: The aspect of initiating engagement and action focused on priority issues that impact agriculture.
