Kenny Walter, a long-time Farm Bureau leader and advocate for rural Ohio, is being honored with the creation of the Kenny Walter Scholarship Fund through the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation.
Known in northeastern Ohio as “Mr. Farm Bureau,” Walter devoted his 34-year career to serving Farm Bureau members and their communities. The foundation is assisting Walter’s family with the creation of the fund to honor his service and generous spirit. Donations to the fund will provide scholarships to students pursuing post-secondary education in agriculture who come from the 29 northeastern counties Walter served as a regional supervisor and organization director.
Walter touched the lives of thousands of families during his career. Those who benefited from his encouragement and support are asked to consider a contribution to the fund. To learn more and to donate, visit ofbf.org/kenny-walter-scholarship-fund.
