Members: Urge Congress to pass Trans-Pacific Partnership

Farm Bureau leaders throughout America have joined together and are strongly urging every Farm Bureau member to contact their members of Congress and urge them to pass the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), a 12-nation trade deal to remove trade barriers and open markets for U.S. agricultural products and other goods.

It is estimated that under TPP annual net farm income will increase by $4.4 billion, driven by an increase of direct U.S. agricultural exports, and 40,100 jobs will be added to the U.S. economy, versus the scenario in which the U.S. fails to pass the agreement.

It is important that we as leaders in the agriculture community take action to show our support for trade options that will continue to help our industry grow. Click here to take action now, and personalize a letter to your Congressman to be sure they know the impact this could have on your farm.
