Hechmer to lead Farm Bureau digital efforts

Rita Hechmer of Hilliard has been named director of digital marketing for Ohio Farm Bureau Federation. She will be responsible for OFBF’s online community building activities including content marketing, membership engagement and sales. She also will be responsible for design of web and print materials.

Hechmer has been employed by Farm Bureau since 2007 as a marketing specialist. She previously worked in marketing with Ohio Newspaper Services and Hyatt Hotels. Hechmer is a graduate of Miami University where she majored in general business with a minor in management information systems. She also completed continuing education courses in design and digital media at Columbus State Community College.
