Marion County Farm Bureau has a new County Office Administrator, Shari. Below is a short interview conducted so you can get to know her better.
Where are you from originally? Marion, Ohio
What high school? I graduated from Pleasant High School.
College degree? I have my bachelor’s in communications.
Married? Kids? I am not married and do not have kids.
Here are some questions for you.
What is your role?
I work in the office. I deal with payments for membership, answer questions members have, and help get things ready for county events, among several other things.
What do you like most about your work with Ohio Farm Bureau?
I like the challenge and that there is something new to learn every day.
Three words best to describe yourself.
Compassionate, driven, goal-oriented.
What do you do when you are not working?
I am involved with the Delaware City Vineyard. Also, I own a vintage Etsy shop so I am constantly going to auctions, garage sales, flea markets, etc. to get new merchandise.
You are happiest when?
I am digging for “junk” or reading a book.
