“Good morning! I’m Audrey Hoey, a Senior at The Ohio State University studying Community Leadership: Community and Extension Education. This semester, I am currently working with Ohio Farm Bureau as a Field Studies Intern. Today, I will be hosting #TakeOverTuesday as we take a look back at the Young Ag Professionals Winter Conference hosted this past weekend in Downtown Columbus.” — #TakeOverTuesday this week is with Audrey Hoey, OFBF intern for the 2017 Young Ag Professionals conference. Young Ag Professionals is a program designed for Ohio Farm Bureau members ages 18-35. This program provides leadership training, opportunities for personal growth, as well as excellent networking opportunities for individuals from all facets of Ohio’s agriculture industry. The YAP State Committee, pictured above, plays an integral role in not only planning the annual conference, but also in organizing opportunities for young agriculturalists around Ohio. Apply to be a member of next year’s committee at OFBF.org. — #TakeOverTuesday this week is with Audrey Hoey, OFBF intern for the 2017 Young Ag Professionals conference. Former Ohio Farm Bureau President and current Ohio Senator, Bob Peterson, spoke during Saturday lunch at #YAP17. Sen. Peterson told his story of becoming involved in #OFBF and emphasized the importance of reaching out to our state legislature regarding issues affecting our farmers, as YAP members are the future of Ohio agriculture. Thanks to @bobpetersonfarm for always striving to keep #OFBF and agriculture a priority in Ohio. — #TakeOverTuesday this week is with Audrey Hoey, OFBF intern for the 2017 Young Ag Professionals conference.
