Mahoning County Farm Bureau Offers Scholarship

Mahoning County Farm Bureau is offering scholarship opportunities to students who have been admitted to a two or four-year institution of higher learning, with preference shown toward those studying agriculture or related fields. Applicants must be a high school senior who lives in Mahoning County or attends a high school in the county, whose self, parent/guardian is a member of the Mahoning County Farm Bureau OR a student who, regardless of residence, is enrolled in a post-secondary institution and either the student or parent/guardian is a member of the Mahoning County Farm Bureau.

Applications must include two letters of personal reference, high school and/or post secondary transcripts or college transcripts.Each applicant must be able to provide proof of financial need, if requested.  Past winners may not reapply.

Completed applications, two letters of personal reference and transcripts must be postmarked or submitted to the Mahoning County Farm Bureau office by April 1, 2017.
