To All Participants of the Farmer’s Share Breakfast held at the Shelby High School on Feb. 18:
On behalf of the Farm Bureau board and the Farmer’s Share Breakfast committee, I would like to personally take this time to thank you for your help and participation that made this year’s Farmer’s Share Breakfast a HUGE success.
It was through all these great efforts that we were able to raise over $1,640 that we will be passing along to some local food pantries within the county. This would not have been possible without all the hard work that everyone put forth — from the people who helped to set up or tear down, to the people who cooked, cleaned or served. I also think our future is bright if we continue to build on the strong foundation that has been forged for us.
Farmers and ranchers remain committed to producing safe, healthy food for consumers, and we also want to strengthen our communities. Through cooperation with the county’s FFA members who volunteer to cook and serve and wash dishes and haul things around, we show how great our county’s agricultural families are.
Last and certainly not least, I would like to also thank all the people who came out, donated to our cause & ate with us. This strong showing of community support is greatly appreciated.
Thank you again for all your generosity and support!
