Olivia McDade was raised on a sheep farm in Greenville where they have approximately 110 ewes. They raise market lambs and sell to youth in Ohio and Indiana. She showed sheep and goats for the last 15 years and has participated at local, state, and national shows including the North American in Louisville, American Royal in Kansas City, and National Western in Denver. On the side of concentrating on the livestock at home, she travels the states of Ohio and Indiana helping other youth with their market projects. She enjoys sharing her knowledge with 4-H and FFA members and families and wants to make successful impacts in the agriculture industry.
Last June she graduated from Greenville High School, where she was active in FFA serving as the president and also participated in numerous judging invitationals and received her State FFA Degree along with being top four in sheep production in the state in 2016. She was an active 4-H member for 10 years and served as her club treasurer and president for numerous years. She just finished her freshman year of college at the Wright State University Lake Campus where she is majoring in agriculture and is the assistant agriculture program coordinator.
Olivia is excited to be working with Farm Bureau this summer!
