Scholarship winners announced

Jon Hensler, president of the Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau would like to announce the recipients of the 2017 Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau Scholarship.

This scholarship was established in 1997 by the Farm Bureau Board of Trustees and is currently supported by the “Hog Wild” project funds.

This year, the scholarship was awarded to Owen Greene, a graduating senior at Oak Hill High School and Chase Dickens who is also a graduating senior at Oak Hill High School.  After graduation Owen plans on attending Wilmington College where he plans on majoring in agri-business/animal science. After graduation Chase plans on attending The Ohio State University- ATI where he plans on majoring in animal science.  We wish them good luck in their futures in agriculture!
