Lucas County Scholarship Winner – Robert Long

Lucas County Farm Bureau is pleased to announce that Robert Long of Whitehouse is the recipient of a 2017 scholarship. The son of Bob and Kathryn Long, Robert is a recent graduate of St. John’s Jesuit High School and Academy.

Robert is the current president of his local 4-H club and has volunteered at the Cherry Street Mission in Toledo and at the Big Laurel Learning Center in West Virginia. He also spends his time at the Lucas County Fairgrounds helping to rebuild or paint benches and has helped install a retaining wall in the horticulture building. Robert is employed with Jennite Seal Coating.

Robert plans to study power equipment and possibly hydroaulic systems management at Ohio State University ATI this fall.

The Lucas County Farm Bureau congratulations Robert and wishes him well in his college career.
