Read MoreThe State YAP Committee and young agricultural professionals in Ohio have a heart for the community. Over the past three years, $21,673 has been raised to support Ohio foodbanks. For this year’s fundraiser, the State YAP Committee is creating a YAP Farm Bureau Calendar, and photos from farms are needed.
The calendars will be created using the top agricultural photos as selected by the State Young Ag Professionals Committee from Ohio Farm Bureau member submissions. These calendars will be sold to raise money for food banks around Ohio.
The committee is looking for all types of agricultural scenes: planting, harvest, livestock, farm landscapes, chores, barns and produce photos from every season. Entrants may submit more than one photo.
Ohio Farm Bureau members can submit high resolution pictures (2048 x 2048) to [email protected] or upload pictures to the YAP Facebook page. Please include photographer’s name and county.
Submissions will be accepted until Aug. 18.
Upon selection, contest winners will be asked to sign a photo release, effectively transferring photo rights to the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, Inc. Failure to sign and comply with the release will render the photo ineligible for use in the Young Agricultural Professionals calendar fundraiser.
