Korey Harrod, of Rossburg, currently is working on his family farm as a third generation farmer. He is a graduate from Mississinawa Valley and currently holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from Wilmington College. Korey is married to his wife, Brittany, and they have three amazing children. On the farm, with his parents, Tom and Jayne Harrod, they raise 1,200 acres of corn and soybeans, have a wean to finish hog operation, and have a contract with Cooper Farms with two starter turkey barns. Korey joined Farm Bureau in 2010 and quickly became active after an experience at Ag Day at the Capital. He has been a board member since 2013 and helps out with the fair and participated in Farm Bureau Day at Rural King. Korey has also been to the Young Ag Professionals Conference in Columbus three times. His favorite benefit as a member of Farm Bureau is getting to network and meet with other people.
