Preble County – Trustee Tuesday: Mike Derringer

Meet the 2017 Preble County Farm Bureau Vice President

Mike Derringer is married to his wife of eight years, Alison. They have three beautiful daughters, Miranda, Audrey, and Colleen. Mike is an 11th year agriculture education instructor and FFA adviser at Talawanda – Butler Tech. He has been a Farm Bureau member for as long as he can remember; his parents and grandparents were active members, encouraging him to take part in the organization. This year is his third year serving on the board.

Mike loves being an advocate for agriculture and representing the community’s concerns. He enjoys being a part of Farm Bureau because it’s another way in which he can get involved with agriculture education aside from his career as an agriculture teacher. Aside from Farm Bureau and FFA, Mike is active at the West Elkton United Methodist Church, is a varsity football official, and he dedicates time to helping with the Butler County Fair. Mike is a diligent person. His efforts show through his dedication to all aspects of his life.

We appreciate the time you spend with the Preble County Farm Bureau!
