Meet one of the 2017 Montgomery County Farm Bureau Scholarship winners
Mariah currently resides in Miamisburg, Ohio with her parents Tim and Debbie Terrill. Mariah attended Miamisburg High School, and plans to attend Wright State University for nursing, and eventually become a nurse practitioner.
Throughout high school. Mariah played softball and was a member of the National Honor Society. Her scholastic efforts were shown mostly in her decision to take College Credit Plus courses through Miami University – Middletown. After taking courses for two years, Mariah landed herself on the Dean’s List and with the completion of 47 credit hours. Despite her full schedule, Mariah, found time to serve the community. She was a part of the Miami Producers 4-H Club, where she held the offices of reporter, treasurer, vce president and president. Within her club, she helped with community service projects. Aside from 4-H, Mariah found herself spending time volunteering at the Tytus Avenue First Church of God, and at Bear Elementary.
Mariah also works on the family farm, lending a helping hand when and wherever needed. Mariah’s service and dedication to school, the community, and work experience are being rewarded through this scholarship.
