Meet one of the 2017 Montgomery County Farm Bureau Scholarship winners
Jessica resides in Farmersville, Ohio with her parents Kim and Jim Hadley. She went to Valley View High School, and is currently attending Wilmington College, where she majors in animal science and pre-vet studies, with a minor in ag. business. Jessica’s future plans are nothing short of ambitious and filled with determination.
During high school, Jessica participated in school activities, as well as maintained her sports life. She grew up on a farm, which encouraged her to get involved with 4-H by being a camp counselor and by showing rabbits and goats. This involvement allowed her to discover her passion for animals and agriculture. In addition, the Valley View FFA Chapter was Jessica’s home when she served as an officer. Lastly, playing volleyball and taking part in Volley for the Cure added to Jessica’s list of items to do. Throughout her years, she took part in helping with multiple community service projects.
Jessica has allowed herself time to work in order to gain experience. She has worked on various farms, as a private nanny, and at concessions at the local pool. Jessica’s constant persistence in school, sports, and during work have led her to learning the value of hard work.
Congratulations, Jessica! We are proud to support your educational endeavors. We wish you the best in the future.
