My name is Alyx Morris, and I am the daughter of Tim Morris and Melissa Morris. I was born and raised in Killbuck, Ohio and I recently graduated from West Holmes High School. This year I became a member of the Holmes County Farm Bureau and received the Larry Lee Lang scholarship. I am attending Ohio State ATI majoring in animal science.

My plan is to become a cattle nutritionist after I complete college. I love spending time on the farm with my animals but I also love my community. I have been in 4-H for six years, the Holmes County Junior Fairboard for four years and I have received my State FFA Degree from the West Holmes FFA Chapter.

This past year I was elected secretary of the West Holmes FFA chapter, secretary for National Honor Society, president of my 4-H club, secretary on Holmes County Junior Fairboard and I was also runner-up for the Holmes County Fair Queen. Through 4-H I have shown Brown Swiss dairy heifers, cows, feeders and steers. I have competed at the Holmes County Fair, the Ohio State Fair, Dairy Spring Expo in Columbus and the North American International Livestock Expo in Kentucky.

I enjoy spending time with my cows, family and friends. I am so thankful for my family and community members who have supported me pushed me to be the best I can.
