Preble County – Trustee Tuesday Highlight – Darrell Wilson

Meet one of our 2017 Preble County Farm Bureau Trustees

Darrell Wilson

Darrell has been a member for nearly 20 years and on the board for six years. He wanted to lend a helping hand to the agricultural community by joining Farm Bureau. Darrell enjoys educating other farmers and community members about agriculture because it plays such a major role in his life. He also likes being a part of an organization that provides food, fiber and fuel to people across the country. Aside from Farm Bureau, Darrell has a 400-acre farm where he grows corn, wheat and soybeans and also raises hogs and beef cattle. He is active on his church board and with his family. He has a teaching degree and occasionally substitutes at schools across Preble County. He has been blessed with two sons and six grandchildren. He has been married for nearly 53 years to his wife, Kay. Darrell enjoys spending time with his family, and hopes to encourage the younger generations to take part in Farm Bureau and in agriculture.

Thanks for all of your time spent with Farm Bureau!
