Meet one of the 2017 Warren County Farm Bureau Scholarship winners
Hannah is being awarded the Fred Pursley Scholarship, on behalf of the Warren County Farm Bureau, to aid her future plans of becoming an animal geneticist. She went to Little Miami High School and is attending Morehead State University to pursue a degree in animal science. Hannah lives in Pleasant Plain with her parents Anthony and Kathleen Topmiller.
Hannah was a member of the National Honor Society, was a Little Miami Student Ambassador, and participated in Little Miami Varsity Soccer. Despite her commitments, she still managed to keep up with her studies, and earned a remarkable grade point average. Hannah earned the Academic All-Conference Award and the Academic Excellence Award. When she wasn’t on the field or in the classroom, Hannah found herself at the Warren County Fairgrounds for 4-H. She served as secretary and vice president for Warren County 4-H. In addition, Hannah’s community involvement was also demonstrated through her work with the American Junior Maine-Anjou Association board of directors, where she is currently the vice president.
Furthermore, Hannah also worked for Y-Not Cattle. Her home responsibilities are also a major part in her life. She cares for her younger brother and manages her own heifers. She is an admirable recipient of the Fred Pursley Scholarship.
Congratulations, Hannah! We are proud to support your educational endeavors. We wish you the best in the future.
