2017 Scholarship Winner – Emily Egbert

Meet one of the 2017 Warren County Farm Bureau Scholarship winners

Emily is the daughter of Dennis and Dena Egbert, and they reside in Lebanon, Ohio. Emily is attending Northern Kentucky University, and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the field of biological science for pre-veterinarian studies. Emily is approaching her goal of becoming a livestock veterinarian.

Emily attended Lebanon High School where she was involved in the National Honor Society and high school yearbook club. She was awarded for her school efforts by receiving a letter “L,” and by maintaining an outstanding grade point average. Emily’s active participation in the community is nothing short of her school involvement. She participated in the following activities: Warren County Car-Teens, Warren County Junior Fair Board, Warren County Camp Counselor, and the Odyssey 4-H Club. Her outstanding community and school work has paved a path for success for Emily.

Emily also set aside time to gain work experience. She was an employee at Schappacher Farms, True Edge Inc., Great Wolfe Lodge, Pristine Senior Living, and at Rural King. Furthermore, Emily also has home duties, in which she is responsible for house chores, yard work, and caring for 4-H livestock. Emily’s diligence throughout every aspect of her life has created her into a deserving recipient of the Warren County Farm Bureau Scholarship.
