Mike Allerding is proud to be the second generation of Drakes Valley Angus LLC. Mike’s dad, Tom Allerding, started their farm operation on his own in 1983, and then developed the operation into an LLC in 2007. Mike and his father continue to work together on the farm producing soybeans, corn, hay, and raising around 80 head of beef cattle.
Mike and Tom enjoy their time on the farm while holding other jobs: Tom is the proud owner of Drakes Valley Construction and Mike is the sales team leader in eastern Ohio and Michigan for ABS Global. When asked why he was a member of Farm Bureau, Mike quickly responded, “We are members of Farm Bureau to help support the people that are supporting us.”
