Meet one of the 2017 Warren County Farm Bureau Scholarship winners
Amanda Osborne is the daughter of Ken and Rebecca Osborne, and they reside in Lebanon, Ohio. Amanda recently graduated from Springboro High School, and is attending Ohio State University to pursue a degree in agriscience education. She hopes to become an agriculture instructor and FFA adviser.
Amanda was an active student at school. She was a youth volleyball coach, a National Honor Society member, an Interact Club member, a swim partner, a volleyball player, and was a part of the Spanish Club. Amanda was recognized for her efforts by being awarded the Shooting Star Award, by being inducted into the National Honor Society, and by maintaining a phenomenal grade point average throughout high school. Amanda has also been active within the community. She has been a Warren County 4-H member, president of the Achievers 4-H Club, a Warren County Youth Camp Counselor, and an Active Exploration Christian Mentor.
Amanda has worked for the Warren County Senior Fair Board Office and for her own family. She maintains her household and 4-H projects. Amanda’s dedication to agriculture is a major aspect of her life. She is thankful for the support and opportunities 4-H has given her over the years.
