Meet one of the 2017 Warren County Farm Bureau Scholarship Winners
Morgan is the daughter of Mark and Heidi Stegemiller; they reside in Franklin, Ohio. She is currently attending the University of Findlay to pursue a degree in animal science and biology. Morgan hopes to ultimately become an animal geneticist. Her pathway throughout high school had led her to becoming a well-rounded person in school, the community, and at home.
Morgan’s school involvement is exceptional. She played volleyball and basketball, was a National Honor Society member, was a Block and Bridle Club member, and served as the treasurer of the Newman Club. Her dedication to these activities goes above and beyond, but it doesn’t stop there. Morgan is immensely dedicated to her studies. She has maintained a phenomenal grade point average and made the Dean’s List at the University of Findlay, In addition, Morgan also enjoys community volunteering. She volunteers at the University of Findlay’s homeless shelter and with the church youth group. Morgan also was a member of 4-H for seven years.
Her commitments don’t stop there. Morgan has worked diligently at the Heatherbrook Alpaca Farm and as a resident assistant for the University of Findlay. Her responsibilities at home require her to mow the lawn, care for and maintain the garden, and manage the animals on the farm. Morgan is an overall hard worker.
