Meet one of the 2017 Warren County Farm Bureau Scholarship winners.
Nina resides in Franklin, Ohio. She is the daughter of Darrell and Rhonda Roberts and is currently attending Wilmington College to pursue agronomy and theater. Her hopes are to find a career within greenhouse operations. Nina’s goals are supported by her continual involvement within her school and community.
Throughout college, she has been an active participant within many clubs. She has been involved with Collegiate 4-H, or the Wilmington Aggies. She has also been a part of Collegiate Farm Bureau, Wilmington College Chorale, Wilmington College Theatre, Student Ambassadors, and Orientation Welcome Leaders. Nina served her community as the treasurer, secretary, and president of the Franklin Aggies 4-H Club. In addition, Nina was a member of the Warren County Junior Fair Board, Ohio State 4-H Ambassadors, helped with the Warren County 4-H Carteens, and helped with various other community volunteerism events. Her constant participation has driven Nina to become the diligent worker she is today.
When Nina’s not in school or involved with the community, she can be found working. She is a Wilmington College Student Ambassador and worked at Tractor Supply. Now that she is no longer in the age range to participate in 4-H, she assists other members with their projects. Nina is a persistent worker in school and in the community.
Congratulations, Nina! We are proud to support your educational endeavors. We wish you the best in the future.
