Meet one of the 2017 Warren County Farm Bureau Scholarship winners
Paul is the son of Tom and Christine Bensman, of Waynesville, Ohio. He is currently attending Ohio State Agricultural Technical Institute and is a graduate of Waynesville High School. Paul is pursuing a degree in livestock production and beef management. He hopes to eventually become a nutritional consultant for an animal feed company.
Paul was an active participant in the marching band, pep band, and National Honor Society. He still allocated time to keep up with his studies, and maintained a good grade point average and he lettered in marching band for his varsity jacket. Furthermore, within the community, his work was remarkable. Paul helped with the Warren County Farmers Share Breakfast, the Waynesville United Methodist Community Dinner, the Waynesville Band Sauerkraut Festival, and has been a dedicated member and helper of the Warren County Junior Fair Board. His commitment to school and community is prominent through his activities and volunteerism.
Additionally, Paul has managed time to work at Clover Hill Farm LLC, for Dale and Sue Plieman, for Scioto Square Lawn Mowing, and for Meg and Dennis Gates. His responsibilities include bailing hay, caring for horses, cattle, and chickens, lawn care and garden care, and operation of machines.
Congratulations, Paul! We are proud to support your educational endeavors. We wish you the best in the future.
