Meet one of our Montgomery County Farm Bureau Trustees
Latham Farley, from Englewood, Ohio, is a trustee on the Montgomery County Farm Bureau board. He is married to Katie, and they live on Katie’s third generation family grain farm where they work with her dad and uncle to grow corn, soybeans, and wheat. They have two daughters, Cora and Kenzie.
Besides working on the farm and raising two children, Latham works for the USDA Farm Service Agency in Sidney, and Katie owns her own graphic design and photography business. They are past members of the Ohio Farm Bureau Young Agricultural Professionals State Committee, where they served as chairs. They were appointed to the American Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee where they were responsible for YF&R Program planning, which includes the coordination of YF&R competitive events during AFBF’s Annual Convention each January. They also provided support in planning and implementing AFBF’s bi-annual FUSION Conference for Farm Bureau volunteer leaders involved in YF&R, Women’s Leadership, and Promotion & Education.
Latham has been a Farm Bureau member for the past seven years. Being involved in Farm Bureau has opened Latham’s eyes to how policy works. He enjoys being an advocate for agriculture.
