Brown County Farm Bureau is offering up to five (5) $500 scholarships to 2018 High School graduates who are the children/dependents of Brown County Farm Bureau members.
If the parents are not Farm Bureau members, the student must be planning to major in agriculture at a college or university. Post-secondary technical training in agriculture will also be considered.
Evaluation of the applicants will be based on academic achievement, school and community activities, financial need and Farm Bureau participation.
If selected, the student must send the Brown County Farm Bureau proof of full-time enrollment (12 quarter-credit hours or semester equivalent credit hours) and at least a 2.5 grade point average after either their first or second college grading period. All grades must be received by April 11, 2019. Checks will be made payable to the college/university.
Applicants must send a completed application, a copy of their high school transcript and a wallet size photo to the Brown County Farm Bureau, PO Box 288, Georgetown, OH 45121. All applications must be received by 4 p.m., March 29, 2018.
