We have a busy month ahead for Franklin County Farm Bureau! Here are some dates and deadlines that you won’t want to miss!

March 3: Central Ohio Farm Bureau Women in Ag Brunch women-in-ag

Brunch will be served featuring a mimosa bar, and the 2017 Ag Women of the Year will be honored. We are excited to have Rose Hartschuh, 2018 American Farm Bureau’s Excellence in Agriculture Winner, as our guest speaker for this event!

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with the welcome and program starting at 11 a.m. Cost is $10.

 

March 23: Franklin County Public Policy Meeting 

Franklin County Farm Bureau invites you to "Farming landscape on a beautiful sunny summer day, good fair weather under high cumulus clouds, wide view of a farm with white barn in Ohio, OH, USA."the 2018 Farm Bureau luncheon with local public officials March 23 at 11:30 a.m. at Schmidt’s in German Village. As we enter a new program year, we need your help in identifying issues toward which Farm Bureau can direct its efforts.

March 26: Workers’ Comp Safety Meeting, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pmsafety-meeting-logo_361203310

One very important aspect of reducing Workers’ Compensation premiums, and to protect Farm Bureau members, is to reduce the number of claims/accidents each year with every member doing his or her part to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. 

Please RSVP by Wednesday, March 21 by calling 614-876-1274.  Please bring your workers’ comp number or your Farm Bureau number with you and make sure to sign the attendance sheet. 

 

March 30: Franklin County Farm Bureau Scholarship Applications DUEscholarship_cap-on-books

The Franklin County Farm Bureau will award up to $15,000 in scholarships for the 2018-2019 academic year. The complete scholarship application must be delivered, mailed faxed or e-mailed no later than March 30, 2018 at 4 p.m.
