2018 Scholarship Winners Announced

Tami Call, president of the Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau, would like to announce the winners of the 2018 Scholarships.

This year, three Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau scholarships were awarded:

Bailey Ward and Tami Call

Bailey Ward from Oak Hill High School was awarded one of the Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau scholarships. Bailey is currently exploring her options between The Ohio State University and Wright State University to pursue a degree in animal sciences or biological sciences: pre-vet. Bailey is a Farm Bureau member and was very active in Farm Bureau activities throughout her high school career. We wish her good luck in her future in agriculture!

Lauren Gardner from Jackson Hill High School was awarded one of the Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau scholarships.  Lauren is attending The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute where she will be majoring in agri-business. Lauren is a Farm Bureau member, and was very active in the previous membership campaign, as well as various Farm Bureau events throughout the year.

Haley Frazier from Jackson High School was also awarded one of the Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau Scholarships. Haley is attending Findlay University where will be majoring in pre-vet with specialization in reproduction and chiropractic care.  Haley is a Farm Bureau member, and has been very active in the Hog Wild Project as well as various other Farm Bureau events and projects throughout her high school career.
