The Geauga County Farm Bureau Scholarship Committee would like to announce their 2018 Scholarship recipients.

Joshua Loveland is the is the son of Rick and Maria Loveland of Montville Township. Josh will be a senior at the University of Akron majoring in mechanical engineering.

Anna Montazzoli is the daughter of Todd and Liz Montazzoli of Auburn Township.  Anna will be a sophomore at Kent State University majoring in biology/pre-med.

Meghan O’Reilly is the daughter of Kevin and Amysue O’Reilly of Middlefield  Township. Meghan will be a sophomore at Kent State University majoring in visual communication design.

Anna Sevich is the daughter of Larry and Lorraine Sevich of Russell Township.  Anna will be a freshman at Mercyhurst University majoring in sports medicine.

Timothy Steimle is the son of William and Terri Steimle of Rome. Timothy will be a sophomore at Wright State University majoring in mechanical engineering.

The Geauga County Farm Bureau implemented a youth scholarship award program back in 1990. Any Geauga County Farm Bureau member who is either planning to attend or is attending a college, university or technical school, at a full-time status can apply. The amount is determined each year by the board of trustees and the applications are available in early spring. A committee is selected to review the applicants and make a recommendation with final approval by the board.
